NeoStem is a proud supporter of the Stem for Life Foundation (SFLF), a non-partisan 501(c)3 organization established to increase public education in all areas of adult stem cell research and application, to encourage and support the field of research involving adult stem cells, and to provide medicine’s most vulnerable populations with access to cutting-edge stem cell technologies.
The Stem for Life Foundation (SFLF) is firmly committed to the dissemination of information detailing the scope of adult stem cell research and development and its possible applications to improve the everyday lives of everyday people. To further this end, SFLF maintains a three-fold mission to provide education, support clinical research, and subsidize adult stem cell collection and storage for those who need it most, such as first responders and the military.
The Stem for Life Foundation is excited about its ongoing partnership with the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Culture which was announced in May 2010. This initiative plans to expand research and raise awareness of adult stem cell therapies. The initiative will entail work on a variety of collaborative activities with the goal of advancing scientific research on adult stem cells and exploring their clinical application in the field of regenerative medicine, as well as the cultural impact of such research. Together with STOQ International, the charitable arm of the Pontifical Council for Culture, SFLF hosted the International Conference on Adult Stem Cell Research from November 9 – 11, 2011 at the Vatican.
